🏔️ Ridgebook

Working through a peak list — the Adirondack 46, a regional classic, or one you've built yourself — happens over seasons and years, not a single trip. Most of us end up trying to hold that record in a spreadsheet, a phone note, or scattered trip reports, and it doesn't hold up over years of climbs.

Ridgebook exists to be the record that does: every list, every peak, and every summit log in one place, so your progress is something you can see fill in, not something you have to reconstruct.

What we believe

Everything runs on your device

No account, no server, and no sync of any kind. Your lists and logs live only where you put them.

Works with no signal

Every screen works offline, including PDF export. Logging a summit at 4,000 feet with zero bars works exactly like logging one at home.

Your data belongs to you

No analytics, no telemetry, no ad SDKs. Export to CSV or a full backup any time, and one tap deletes everything, permanently.

One app, both platforms

iOS and Android from a single build, so the app looks and feels native and correct at every size, light and dark.

A logbook, not a guide

Ridgebook records what you did — it doesn't plan your route, check the weather, or replace your own backcountry preparation and land-manager permit research.

Who it's for

Hikers working through a peak list — the Adirondack 46 High Peaks or one you've assembled yourself — who want a record better than a spreadsheet or scattered notes, and want their progress to be something they can watch fill in, list by list, season by season.
